Tim Crider once took philosophy classes under the same tree that Plato taught beneath. After spending his formative years in middle Illinois playing the requisite amount of ice hockey and football, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and spent a semester in Rhodes, Greece. "It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life…then I moved to Pittsburgh." Such is life.

Eventually, Tim found his way to Baltimore where he established himself as a preeminent system architect and senior software developer. In fact, he wrote the book on PHP—literally.
