The saga of Lorrie, agency manager, doesn't begin on Madison Avenue; it starts on Broening Highway. That's the ribbon of concrete that was once the backbone of the big-muscle city of Baltimore. Along this road you could find steel plants, the assembly line of a Big Three auto manufacturer, one of the world's great sea ports, and Lorrie's parents. "They worked at General Electric assembling old fashioned black-box telephones," she says. "My father was a 6-to-7 day a week worker. And my mother, well she wasn't one of these women who worked to 'have it all.' She worked so we could have anything at all." Those blue-collar roots are what epitomize Lorrie's own work ethic today. In between she does just about anything she can to provide ADG's customers an unparalleled marketing experience. "I always say: I may not know the answer to their question, but I always know who knows the answer." Before ADG, Lorrie spent a long career working at domestic law firms from California to Annapolis. "There is one striking parallel," she says, cracking up. "In both scenarios a good result only comes after a lot of painful chaos." And a lot of hard work. « back
