Some people may think that the professional education of Jeff was a little unorthodox. Sure it has its conventional sides. He went to Glenelg High School in Howard County and eventually got his BS in business administration and marketing at the University of Baltimore. He also interned as a marketing and PR assistant at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and worked quite successfully devising strategy for some excellent local agencies. But if you ask Jeff, it was his father who really taught him how to be an advertising professional. "One high school semester I got straight A's," he says. "As a reward my dad bought me a stripped down 1989 Honda CRX. Our goal was to build a new engine and chassis and then race it." "But along the way I learned project flow, how to create an itinerary and stay organized, and how to break a project into phases. Essentially, it was project management, and I started learning it at 17." Jeff says he still owns that car to this day. "Why not? It really took me places." « back
