As a kid patrolling 36 acres of horse farm in rural Virginia, Caitlin Currey-Ortiz loved the simplicity of potlucks, back porches and bonfires…but she wanted something "bigger." After graduating from Old Dominion University, she married an officer in the U.S. Army and moved to Savannah, Hostess City of the South. In a city known for heaping helpings of Paula Deen's low country cuisine, it was the Savannah College of Art and Design that ultimately gave Caitlin a taste of that "something bigger" she sought. Eventually, her husband's work lured the couple away from Georgia, and once again, on to something bigger. After a few moves—and a military deployment thrown in for good measure—Caitlin landed in the welcoming arms of the Old Line State…and ADG.
